Fund for Safeguarding At-Risk Jewish Heritage and Archives

International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage in Conflict Areas (ALIPH)
International

In 2024, with the Foundation’s support, the International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage in Conflict Areas (ALIPH) established the Fund for Safeguarding At-Risk Jewish Heritage and Archives, recognizing the need for the protection and rehabilitation of Jewish heritage sites and the conservation of archives and manuscripts in North Africa, Ukraine, the Balkans, and Central Asia.

Created in 2017 in response to the massive destruction of cultural heritage over the past two decades, predominantly in the Middle East and the Sahel, ALIPH is a global fund exclusively dedicated to the protection and rehabilitation of cultural heritage in conflict zones and post-crisis situations.
