The Leon Levy Preserve is a 386-acre property in Lewisboro, NY, featuring an extensive trail system, wetlands rich in wildlife, diverse hardwood forests, the ruins of a turn-of-the-century mansion, and views to the west as far as the Hudson River. Purchased by the Town of Lewisboro in 2005 with major support from the Jerome Levy Foundation, the tract was the largest undeveloped piece of land remaining in Westchester County. Over two decades the Leon Levy Foundation has supported the Westchester Land Trust, the Lewisboro Land Trust, and the Town of Lewisboro with grants for native plant restoration, trail maintenance, and capital projects to enhance the Preserve and ensure its enjoyment by future generations.
